Meet The Team

Owner/Director/Teacher
Miss Jennifer Duquet
Miss Jenn is the owner and artistic director of The Dance Factory with 30 years of dance experience and 13 years of teaching and choreography experience. Jenn grew up dancing competitively and attending conventions with master teachers. She is a graduate of Rhode Island College, with a Bachelors degree in Biology, and a graduate of Liberty University, with a Masters degree in Exercise Science. Her choreography has won numerous judges awards, high scores and special recognition at many dance competitions. She has been the Secretary of the National Association of Dance and Affiliated Arts for the last 10 years, and has recently been elected the President of the organization. Jenn is passionate about continuing her dance education and giving her students the most well-rounded experience that she can offer them.

Teacher
Miss Katie Dooney
Miss Katie is a graduate of Our Lady of the Elms College where she received her Bachelors in social services. She started her training in Irish dancing at McDermott Academy of Irish Dance in Springfield, MA. She has continued her dancing at The Claddagh School of Irish Dance where she has been taking classes for over 20 years. Katie is the proud dog mom to her two loves Duke and Harper. She was most recently honored as Springfield's Irish Person of the Year and donates much of her spare time to The John Boyle O-Reilly Club in Springfield, MA where she assists in hosting numerous events for them. We are honored to have Miss Katie on our teaching staff and love the positive energy she brings to all of her classes, along with her fun and authentic choreography.

Miss Nora Cuddy
Miss Nora started dancing in 1992 at the Betty Gundersen's School of Dance. She went on to study at the Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School, then graduated with a BA in the Arts from Franklin Pierce University. During this time, she performed and won awards at the American College Theatre Festival and the American College Dance Festival. She has studied under the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, Martha Graham Dance Company, and Stephen Petronio, to name a few. She has toured throughout New England and Europe. She is currently the director of the Framingham Community & Cultural Center. When Miss Nora isn't dancing, you can find her spending time with her partner and their two poodles, Lucinda and Otis.

Miss Torie Jock
Miss Torie started in the performance industry at just one year old. Torie started out dancing and modeling and then quickly became involved in many aspects of the industry. She competed at numerous regional and national dance competitions. Torie started singing and acting at nine years old, and she has been writing her own music since she was old enough to write. Torie has been in many theatrical performances, playing various roles, from starring roles to supporting. Torie has many singles, EPs, and a full album released on all music platforms. Torie started assistant dance teaching at the age of 12, and has loved teaching ever since. She always encourages her students to be the best versions of themselves.
