Join Our Competition Team!

Take your training to the next level by becoming part of our Competition Team. This program is designed for dedicated dancers who are ready to challenge themselves, grow as performers, and be part of a supportive, team-focused environment. Competition team members gain confidence, improve technical ability, and experience the excitement of performing and competing, all while being part of a dedicated and encouraging team.

The Competition Team Experience:

​

• Team Training & Rehearsals
  Members participate in weekly technique classes, choreography rehearsals, and team training designed to strengthen technical ability, performance quality, confidence, and teamwork.

• Performance Opportunities
  Dancers train and perform award-winning choreography in a variety of styles while gaining valuable stage experience throughout the season.

• 3 Competitions Per Year
  Our team attends three regional competitions annually, where dancers showcase their routines, receive professional feedback, and build confidence on stage.

• Convention Attendance
  In addition to competitions, dancers attend dance conventions featuring classes taught by industry professionals, exposure to new techniques and styles, networking opportunities, and scholarship opportunities.

• Team Building & Growth
  Beyond dance training, Competition Team members develop discipline, accountability, leadership, confidence, teamwork, and friendships that last far beyond the studio.

 

Is Competition Team Right for You?

Dancers who are selected for the Competition Team are expected to fully commit to the program. Requirements include:

​

• Participation in summer classes to maintain and improve technique

• Enrollment in 4 or more classes (Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, and 1 alternate class)

• Attendance at all 3 competitions throughout the season

• Participation in at least one NADAA convention per year

• Consistent attendance at all classes, rehearsals, competitions, and conventions

• Maintaining a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit

 

Who Can Join?

We welcome dancers ages 8-18, who are passionate, motivated, and ready to commit to a higher level of training and performance. Competition Team auditions are held once each year.
